Get teenagers talking about what matters
‘DEPRESSION TALK’, BY TALK REVOLUTION™ IS A NON-CONFRONTATIONAL WAY TO ENGAGE IN MEANINGFUL DISCUSSION FROM A YOUTH PERSPECTIVE
Worryingly, we hear of more and more young people suffering from depression and mental health issues in a way that we haven’t seen before.
We can spend hours working out ‘why’ it’s happening, or we can take the initiative to talk to our young people about the topic, arm them with the signs to look for in their friends and take steps to prevent it, by bringing it out into the open and destigmatising it. These videos and discussion notes are designed to do exactly that.
This isn’t about ‘you’. This is about making sure your teenager gets the right information, at the right stage of their life in order to make informed and empowered choices. All teenagers are different. Some want to talk about all the things and others just need a bit here and there. Use your judgment. You know your teen better than anyone else.

‘It takes a village to raise a child’ is an African proverb that means an entire community of people must interact with children in order for those children to experience and grow in a safe and healthy environment and exactly the reason why we’ve collaborated at every level with the people who count.

I absolutely love what you’ve done! I love that the videos are led by teens and that you’ve included boys as well. What a great way to speak to both sexes. I also love how you’ve incorporated Instagram, Face Time, Snapchat, etc. Makes the content really relatable to that generation as it’s so current.
